He insisted that the practice should not allowed in Nigeria.
Adeboye, at the New Year Thanksgiving by the Joint Christian Mission of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, said same sex marriage was capable of wiping out human race within just 20 years of its practice.
The cleric, who described same sex marriage as anathema to God's will and instruction, said the will of God for human being is to be fruitful, replenish and multiply on earth.
He said anything contrary to God's will for mankind is devilish.
He said: "How can a man who marries a fellow man produces a child and how can a woman who marries a woman produces a child? If this evil is allowed to stay, there will not be new born babies again in the world.
"As the older generation dies, would there be a new generation to succeed? Even plants and animals have new generation to succeed them. So those indulging in the act which should repent and turn to God."

Whilst it is true that God did outlaw homosexuality and lesbianism in the Old Testament (Leviticus 18:22) we need to ask whether this ban has been amended by the Lord Jesus or upheld and or are we still under the law?
ReplyDeleteMany say that He upheld it and that the conversation that He had with the Pharisees regarding divorce was the proof to this fact that God made them male and female for the reason of multiplication etc. The Topic of that conversation was Divorce and whether it was allowed by God, Fact 1 God did not allow divorce Moses was the one that gave the permission for people to divorce not God. Whilst we still accept it that Yes God did create them male and female ( for yes even Gays and lesbians were a produce of male and female getting together ) we should be asking what the bible then meant when it calls Jesus the Last Adam., we should also consider what the Last Adam did at the Cross . Lastly whether we are still under the law which the last Adam came to abolish or whether we are under Grace.
Galatians 3:13 tells us that He paid the price for us breaking the law of the Old testament this clearly includes taking on the consequence of breaking the ban on homosexuality and lesbianism law, so why are countries like Nigeria and Uganda advocating imprisonment and or the death penalty.?
UNSCRIPTURAL IN EVERYWAY, they that lead into captivity will themselves go into it . etc.
Under Grace He not only took the punishment for us but took the law all the way out of the way , He flung it out of the way ( it was necessary!) , for where there is no law there cannot be any transgressions.
This is what many Christian Gays and lesbians believe and they do not see their state as a Sin or devilish what they see is the Completed works of the Cross – where you can have your Love thanks to your Lord who paid the Price for you to be with the One you love even though he or she is the same sex as you. Without faith it is impossible to please the Lord , for one must believe in the Works of the Cross.
P.s who is to say that God intends to continue in the way Adam and Eve procreate given that that method if we read Genesis was a punishment. Who is to say that He had not had in mind the deep sleep He placed the first Adam in to bring about Eve as a means of procreation? We dont know what we do know is that He the last Adam paid the price for Gays and Lesbians to have their Loved Ones and still make Heaven!
