Breaking News: Enugu State’s Governor Sullivan Chime Returns

Report reaching us now says that embattled Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Sullivan Iheanacho Chime, has arrived Nigeria after over 140 days abroad on medical trip.

In a running battle spearheaded by the Save Enugu Group (SEG), there have been numerous calls for his impeachment having stayed away from his duties for over the constitutionally approved 90 days.

Governor Chime, who this morning arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, aboard British Airways flight from London, was said to have offered no word to waiting Journalists, but headed straight to the Enugu State Governor's lodge.

Further details of his return remained sketchy as at press time, but there are indication that he has been scheduled to have a meeting with Vice President Namadi Sambo owing to the absence of President Jonathan who is on an official assignment abroad.

Dependable sources from Enugu also confided in Our Reporter that Enugu is agog awaiting the arrival of the Governor who is bid to arrive the Coal City.
