The Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, this morning rode on a bicycle
to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.Today's FEC meeting is
the last in the life of the administration of President Goodluck
Jonathan.Jonathan, having lost theMarch 28presidential election, is
handing over to Muhammadu Buharion Friday.Chidoka told State House
journalists that he rode on a bicycle to the valedictory FEC session to
promote the idea that all modes of transport are essential.The minister
said he was glad to have served under Jonathan's administration."The
most important thing is that we have done our beat and we are moving on.
The president has allowed the widening of democracy...," he said.
