Following the recent madness of Nigerians to meet up with the deadline of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) being today the 30th June, 2015, the CBN has noticed that the exercise might not be a visible one as about 14 million bank users are yet to get their BVNs.
The CBN have sent a circular, extending the BVN Registration To 31st October, 2015.

They are never serious in policy execution in this Nation. You are given deadline to citizens that are just embracing banking. I think for CBN to get it right they need deposit bank assistance, by encouraging their customers to register. 50% of the account in the banks are in & out with only 50,000.oo balances. They are not interested in any loan so, who cares about BVN bullshit
