Police Officers Killed During Raid On Boko Haram Hideout In Chad

The deadly Boko Haram insurgents have continued with their senseless killings after Five Chadian police officers were killed Monday when suspected Boko Haram militants blew themselves up during a police raid on a safe house in the capital N'Djamena. Six of the militants also died in the attack
The blasts struck after security forces arrested the alleged "brain" behind Boko Haram operations in Chad and neighbouring northern Cameroon, Interior Minister Abderahim Bireme Hamid said.

The latest bloodshed follows a June 15 double suicide bombing blamed on the Nigerian militants, which killed at least 33 people in N'Djamena in the deadliest attack of its kind in the city.
