Tragedy In Ekiti State As Hunter Shoots Fellow Hunter To Death While On Hunting Expedition

What a tragedy.....It was a day of sadness in Ijan Ekiti community, Ekiti state on Wednesday 12th August, after a hunter reportedly shot his fellow hunter to death while on a hunting expedition. According to police reports, a group of hunters were pursuing bush pigs and in the process one of them allegedly shot another one aged 30yrs who died on the spot.

Policemen have recovered the corpse and deposited it at General Hospital mortuary Ijan Ekiti for autopsy. One locally-made barrel gun recovered from the suspect as exhibit. State CIID Ado-Ekiti is investigating.
