This is the shocking moment a jealous wife bites off the finger of her
husband's mistress in front of shoppers in Italy. The fight broke out in
the street when the pair, who have not been named, bumped into each
other while out shopping. It is understood the wife had discovered her
husband was having an affair with the woman - a relative - before the
violent attack in the Quartieri Spagnoli in Naples.
Surgeons attempted to sew her finger back on but local news reports have not confirmed whether the operation was a success.
The husband has not been identified but he is believed to be a successful local entrepreneur
