The Director General (DG) Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN),
Mr Ladan Salihu has charged the Nigerian Media to cultivate the habit of
reporting heroic efforts of the Nigerian Armed Forces rather than
celebrating insurgency with the contents of their reports.
The DG said this when the Director Defence Information (DDI) Colonel
Rabe Abubakar paid a courtesy and familiarisation visit to the Senior
Management staff of the FRCN in Abuja. He urged the media to endeavour
to report the success story of the military and their efforts at
bringing peace and security to the nation at all time.
He enjoined the media to team up with the Armed Forces so that the goals
of defeating terror and ending insurgency in our country would be
realised within the shortest period.
