There was a rowdy session in the senate on Tuesday after 84 senators
passed a vote of confidence on embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki.

This is as some pro-Saraki protesters barricaded the entrance of the National Assembly complex in Abuja.
Saraki is facing a 13-count charge of corruption and false declaration of assets at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and alleged that trial was a witch-hunt following his emergence as Senate President.
More details soon.
