The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has ordered the Department
of State Security to allow former National Security Adviser NSA Sambo
Dasuki travel for medical checkup. Dasuki had filed a Fundamental Rights
Enforcement suit against the Federal government after DSS officials
prevented him from traveling out on November 4th despite a court
injunction permitting him to do so.
The presiding judge in today's hearing, Justice Ademola Adeniyi ordered the Attorney General to appear before it on Monday Nov. 16th to explain why the court order granting Dasuki permission to travel out for medical attention is being flouted.
