At Least 24 Dead, Many Injured As 2 Female Suicide Bombers Strike In Maiduguri

At least 22 Muslim worshippers were killed when two female suicide bombers detonated themselves in a mosque in Umarari Village, outskirts of Maiduguri, during the early morning prayers on Wednesday.... The attack also left several others injured.







According to Channels Television;

The first bomb went off from one of the suicide bombers whom had disguised as a man in order to be able to join the worshipers. The second bomber, who was outside the mosque, detonated her bomb when sympathisers rushed to the scene. It is the third attack on Umarari, a village occupied by people dislodged by insurgents in adjoining villages.
