OAP Gbemi LAMBASTS Celebrity-bashing Online Trolls

Beat FM OAP, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi has lashed out at social media trolls who repeatedly harass famous people online.
According to her, it has become daily internet routine for celebrities to upload pictures and get mostly nasty comments from internet trolls.

Gbemi took to her Twitter handle to express her views in series of tweets saying ‘’All these people who say that people in public eye must learn to deal with everything thrown at them with grace. Easier said than done.
She further said ‘’you open your social media and strangers are slinging insults at you….one day you would snap’’

Gbemi is a popular broadcaster and presenter known for presenting programmes on Cool FM and The Beat 99.9 FM. She won on-air personality of the year at the 2008 Future Awards, she  is also a celebrity model for Soul Mate hair products. She is currently program director for Naija FM 102.7FM, an indigenous radio station.
