StarBoy Records boss, Wizkid has gone beyond the shores of Nigeria to sign famous Ghanaian acts, R2bees, Efya and Mr Eazi to StarBoy Worldwide.
The ‘Baba Nla‘ crooner had hinted fans of the move all along, saying he wants to create something iconic, and now it’s apparently a done deal.
Following the series of tweets, it looks like the singer has pulled off one of the biggest African music mega-signings in recent history.

When Efya was pictured in a studio with Wizkid in California, most people thought they were just making music together, not knowing the contract went beyond that and that the preparation had been a long time coming.
Even though in another hint at his underground work, Wizkid also teased a remix to Mr Eazi‘s hit single “Skin Tight” on Snapchat sometime in April, no one saw something this big coming.
Meanwhile, many African music acts have been saluting Wizkid’s new move in their own tweets with the belief that great things will happen to African music through his latest efforts.
