Nigerians condemn the release of alleged rapist and child abductor, Yunusa Dahiru

Yunusa Dahiru, accused of abducting 14-year-old Ese Oruru from Yenagoa and standing trial on charges of criminal abduction, sexual exploitation, illicit sex & carnal knowledge of a minor, was released on bail after spending some months in Okaka Prisons in Bayelsa state.

His lawyer, Barrister Huwaila Muhammad Ibrahim said over 100 lawyers have volunteered to stand for Yunusa with Sheikh Alhaji Yunusa Usman (SAN) as the leading counsel. Nigerians have expressed shock over how a Senior Advocate of Nigeria would be involved in such a case.
