Singer, Klever Jay Reacts To His 'Poor Performance' At Seyi Law's "Fast & Funny" Concert

Top Nigeria Comedians, Artistes, Nollywood stars, and other highly profiled personalities stormed Eko Hotel & Suite on Sunday, July 24th for Comedian, Seyi Law's comedy and music event tagged "Fast & Funny" concert.

The event was graced by electrified performances from Top Nigeria acts with the likes of; Burna Boy, Ycee, Kiss Daniel, Klever Jay, Tekno, Adekunle Gold, Cynthia Morgan, Phyno, just to mention but few.

One of the performances from the event that got people talking and commenting vigorously on different platforms was that of Klever Jay's, whose performance was tagged to be a 'poor performance'. It was reported that the "Baba No Regret" singer 'didn't put his best while performing the song, most especially; his choice of song'.

Having received much complaints from his fans, The 'Owo Eko' singer have taken to his official Instagram page to address the issue.

Klever Jay made it clear in his write up that his so called 'poor performance' wasn't exactly his fault but, the Event Organizer's. "The Dj just played his own choice of song - "Igboro Ti Daru ft Dagrin" and not mine - Koni Koni Love and Owo Eko" he added when contacted by HEP

"Funny how ppl quickly jump into conclusions dis days without bothering to know what went wrong. You went 4 a show and d organizers make performance arrangement between ur manager nd one of their dj. After few hours when the whole thing has turned to rushing, they called the artist on stage and one of the organizers told another dj to play his own choice of the artist song without the Artist/Manager's knowledge which is far far away from the arrangement between the host, the 1st dj and the manager.

The manager couldn't reach the dj @ that moment to correct the anomaly according to their rules, so he had to just do with what the dj played and leave the stage professionally. Now ppl watching the performance judging him and laying blames on him. Question is, why will an artist come all the way for a performance and decide not perform his best and fans favorable song? Ofcourse not.
This was just a mishap between the second dj and organizers and artist professionally did is job but now the artist is been blamed. All is well"
