Muhammadu Buhari has frowned at the crisis rocking some communities in
Nigeria as he has ordered the IGP to put an end to it.

President Muhmmadu Buhari has met with the Inspector General of
Police, Ibrahim Idris on Friday where he gave him directives to
immediately put an end to incidences of crisis present in some parts of
the country.
The President said peace is essential to the development of the people.
Speaking to Journalists after a the meeting with President Buhari
at the State House, Abuja, police IG, Idris said it was untrue that the
crisis in Benue and Osun States were related to religion or ethnicity.
The IGP said he will make sure that the directive by the President
is followed holistically to bring peace to the affected communities.
In his words, “It’s a specific directive to all of us to use
the facilities at our disposal to ensure that such incidences are
brought under control immediately and I gave the President the assurance
that we are going to do that”.
