Four
persons were killed while eleven others sustained injuries in suicide
bomb attacks in three different locations in Maiduguri, the Borno state
capital on Wednesday morning.

The Chairman of Borno State Emergency Management Agency (BASEMA),
Ahmad Satomi, has disclosed to journalists that at least, four persons
were on Wednesday, morning killed and 11 others injured in multiple suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
"It was a sad morning for us. We lost four people, including
Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members and 11 others were wounded in
multiple blasts in Maiduguri," said Satomi.
According to him, a male bomber stormed Malakalerri area of Muna
Garage in Mafa Local Government Area at about 4:18 am, killing one CJTF
member and injuring five women and one CJTF member.
Seven minutes later, a female bomber blew herself up Dynamic near Alkomi Clinic along Gomboru-Ngala Road.
The BASEMA boss added that another female bomber attacked an
unofficial Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Muna Ethiopia
General Area, injuring five persons, who are currently receiving
treatment.
Satomi disclosed that his agency believed that the female bomber
removed the Improvised Explosive Device on her body and fled. The BASEMA
boss advised members of the public to support military and security
personnel with information that could help put an end to the insurgency.
He also stated that the government is working on a new approach to containing the frequency of suicide bomb attacks.
