Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Speaker, Onofiok Luke, reunites with his former primary school classmate after 26 years

Onofiok Luke who is the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, shared the amazing story of how he reunited with his primary school classmate. He wrote

''What a great reunion. We use to compete fiercely in academics at the primary school, some of us had to change our handwriting so as to write like him. He was and still is a very intelligent guy. We took a decision to go the same Secondary School, Lutheran High School Obot Idim, but sometime at about our JSS3, we returned to school and he never showed up again till we completed high school in 1994 and 1995, all effort to connect with him proved abortive until last Tuesday when we established contact and today we had a wonderful reunion after about 26 years.

This guy was a great challenge to us all in the class. He taught some of us mathematics.

He is a great guy.

My thought: how I wish death were to be like this, where we can get to meet our loved ones again on earth after a while''.
