Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High court sitting in Lagos
today Monday October 21st, ordered the temporary forfeiture of two
properties in the Ikoyi area of Lagos state linked to immediate past
Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The EFCC had filed a petition before the court seeking the temporary
forteiture of the properties located on 17B McDonald road Ikoyi, which
they claimed are proceeds of ''unlawful activities''.

of this honourable Court forfeiting to the Federal Government of
Nigeria landed property with appurtenances situate, lying and known as
No. 17A McDonald Road, Ikoyi, Eti Osa Local Government Area of Lagos
State found and recovered from the respondent which property is
reasonably suspected to have been acquired with proceeds of unlawful
activity”.
The antigraft agency is currently investigating Saraki for
misappropriation of funds while he was governor of Kwara state from 2003
to 2011
