  •  DIVINE OGHENEROUNA UDORO, known professionally as Divine Wayne or D.Wayne, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter based in South Africa.

    Hailing from Delta State, Nigeria, Divine.Wayne, with Uhrobo roots, primarily embraces the world of Hip-hop, infused with contemporary elements that add a unique flair to his style. 


    During his formative years, Divine.Wayne was greatly influenced by his older brother, who introduced him to a diverse range of music, spanning old-school hip hop and Reggaeton. The sounds of legends like Tupac Shakur, Nas, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Notorious B.I.G, The Game, Jay Z, 50 Cent, Lil, Wayne, as well as reggae icons like Lucky Dube and Bob Marley, left an indelible mark on his musical journey. 


    His passion for music deepened when his older brother took up rapping in 2007, inspiring him to closely observe his sibling’s artistic growth and musical development. 


    In 2016, after completing high school, Divine.Wayne decided to take his ambitions to the streets and pursue a career in rap. At that time, the hip-hop landscape had evolved into the ‘Trap’ wave, influencing his style and artistic direction through the likes of Young Thug, Meek Mill, Migos, and Future. 


    In October 2019, he made his debut with the single ‘Everyday,’ which garnered significant attention in his hometown of Warri and across various social media platforms. 


    Encouraged by this success, he joined forces with his older brother, ‘Tukaz,’ to release their first collaborative single, ‘Mr. Officer,’ which also achieved notable acclaim. 


    In 2020, Divine.Wayne made the pivotal decision to relocate to South Africa, marking a new chapter in his musical journey. 


    Since then, he has continued to captivate audiences with tracks such as ‘Seen It,’ featuring Capt.Dyse, ‘No Hook,’ and ‘123,’ in collaboration with ‘Romii,’ a South African-based rapper. 


    Divine Wayne’s music transcends borders, connecting listeners with his unique blend of hip-hop and contemporary influences, making him a rising star in the music scene.
