The Magistrate, Mr Olaolu Olanipekun, however, did not take the plea of the defendant for want of jurisdiction.

He directed the police to return the case file to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal advice.

He, thereafter, adjourned the case till March 27 for mention.

Earlier, the Prosecutor, Mr. Philip Amusan told the court that the defendant allegedly committed the offence on Feb. 1, at 11:00 a.m, at Iwo road area, Ibadan.

He said the offence contravened Section 319 of the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
