Police investigates illegal embalming of Mohbad’s body

The investigation has prompted another invitation of the Aloba family and individuals implicated in the illegal embalming of his remains.

Mohbad’s Personal Assistant, Boluwatife Adeyemo (Darosha), was questioned at the Zone 2 Police Headquarters alongside the deceased’s parents, Joseph and Abosede.

Following Darosha’s interrogation, the police have requested the appearance of all individuals mentioned in his statement for further questioning.

According to Monisola Odumosu, the family’s legal representative, the subsequent round of questioning took place on Tuesday at the Zone 2 Police Headquarters in Lagos State.

Odumosu revealed that the police are working to identify the “illegal mortician” who embalmed Mohbad’s body.

The police have assured that they will soon reveal the identity of the perpetrator to the public.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police will submit their report to the Legal Department for recommendations.

The meeting at Zone 2 was attended by Mohbad’s family members, including his father, Joseph Aloba; his mother, Abosede Olumuyi; his wife, Cynthia Omowunmi Aloba; his younger brother, Adura Aloba; and other witnesses and lawyers.
