Man Loses Pregnant Wife And Unborn Child As Owerri Doctor Uses YouTube Videos For Surgery

A man identified as Onyekachi Agwu Imo, from Ebonyi state has reportedly lost his pregnant wife and unborn child to quack doctors in Owerri, Imo state.

This incident happened in Lebechi Hospital, Owerri as the doctors were allegedly conducting surgery on the pregnant woman following YouTube videos.

Sharing the incident on X, the interviewer(@stanley) said they were at the state’s police command reporting the case as murder.

“When I brought my wife to the hospital, the doctor said they needed to carry out an operation on her because she was bleeding. I was also in the theater because I signed. When it was time, they called another doctor to operate on her and they were using phone, watching YouTube videos on how to operate. While at it, my wife gave up the ghost and I lost my baby, too”, the grieving man said.

Meanwhile, the said doctor is said to be on the run currently as the issue has been reported to the police station.

However, while Nigerians are reacting and insisting of justice to be served, the police are yet to make an official statement on the case.
