11-Year Old Boy Trying to Pluck Mangoes Falls From Tree,Dies

11-year old Joshua Samson has died after falling from a mango tree at Bugakwo village in Kuje Area Council, FCT.

The young boy who had climbed the tree to pluck some mangoes was said to have slipped off a branch of the tree and died.

According to a resident of the area who simply identified himself as Danjuma, the boy had hit his head on a stone as he fell.

He was taken to the hospital after his friend whom he had gone with — ran home to report to the parents. Sadly, he was confirmed dead from head injuries.

Danjuma added that the deceased was buried immediately and his parents would not report to any security operatives.
