  • Governor Umo Eno’s daughter accuses him of attack on her family

  •

Jane Edidiong Ufot, the daughter of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has sparked widespread controversy following a viral video in which she made grave allegations against her father, accusing him of endangering her life and that of her daughter

In the emotionally charged video, Jane, who also serves as the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Health, Safety, and Environment, claimed that her mother, the late First Lady Patience Umo Eno, who d!ed in September 2024 after a prolonged illness, was “sacrificed.”

“I’m not a sacrifice. Mummy was, but I’m not,” she declared tearfully, suggesting that there is a sinister plot against her and her child.

The video also shows a distressing moment where Jane’s young daughter is seen on a video call with Governor Eno, asking, “So, Grandpa, do you want them to k!ll us? Do you want us to d!e like my baby brother d!ed?” The governor did not respond in the clip.

Jane further warned, “If I d!e today, or my daughter d!es… my blood will not go scot-free,” hinting at a perceived threat to their lives and a deep rift within the family.

As of the time of this report, Governor Umo Eno has not issued any public response to the allegations. The video has continued to trend online.
