President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday visited victims of the recent deadly attacks in Benue State who are currently receiving treatment in hospital.
Photos from the visit show the President, accompanied by top government officials and security personnel, interacting with injured survivors lying in hospital beds. The President appeared somber as he assessed the condition of the victims and offered words of comfort.
The visit is part of his one-day trip to Benue following the brutal assault on Yelewata community in Guma Local Government Area, which left over 100 people dead and several others wounded.
Tinubu’s stop at the hospital underscores his administration’s effort to show solidarity with the victims and assure affected communities of federal support.
He is also expected to meet with state officials, security agencies, and community leaders to discuss lasting solutions to the ongoing security crisis in the region.
