Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has expressed deep frustration with President Bola Tinubu’s administration, declaring that he is both tired and hungry under the current government due to the soaring cost of livingi
Speaking to a crowd of supporters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Wednesday, Amaechi, now a prominent figure in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), did not hold back in criticizing Tinubu’s leadership.
“If you are not tired of President Tinubu, I am tired. If you are not hungry, I am hungry,” Amaechi declared.
The former Rivers governor, who was warmly received by loyalists upon his return to the state, lamented the rising cost of fuel and basic necessities, noting that even wealthy Nigerians are now spending as much as N4 million monthly on fuel.
“If rich men are spending N4 million a month on fuel, only God knows how the poor are surviving,” he said.
His remarks come amid growing discontent over Nigeria’s worsening economic conditions under Tinubu’s leadership.
