  • “THE BIAFRA SCAM SYNDROME: HOW OUR PEOPLE ARE BEING FOOLED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT”

  • Biafra has become an opium for many.
Yes, we all agree that the marginalisation and unfair treatment of the Igbo people must end.
But what I still cannot understand is how easily our people fall for scams in the name of Biafra.

Do you know that a nurse practitioner in the United States, Ngozi Orabueze, has managed to hold countless educated adults spellbound?

She asked them to pay for Biafra ID cards—and they paid.
She printed Biafran international passports—and they paid again.

She opened an office in Georgia and boldly called it the Biafran Embassy in the U.S.
And shockingly, they all agreed. Embassy? Truly unbelievable.

She told followers to give her government loans for “restoring Biafra,” promising they would get 100% profit whenever Biafra is finally restored—whatever that means.
People are loaning her $10,000 to $20,000 without blinking.

She created a fictional Biafra capital known as “Ebube,” and people are paying for houses to be built there—with full confidence.

She tells them that the United States of Biafra (USB) will be one year old on November 29th, and while she goes to work to earn her salary, she instructs people in her so-called “40 states of Biafra” to sit at home.
    They obey without question.

Every Saturday, she assembles them on Zoom, and they contribute money from all over the world.
Now she wants to raise ₦500 million (or dollars, depending on her mood) to build the Biafran Government office in Ebube—and the donations keep rolling in.

Many of her followers genuinely believe that a real country called USB already exists.
One must ask: Is USB an online country or an audio nation?

She even ordered a sit-at-home on the day of the Anambra governorship election—a test of her power.
But we all saw what happened: the election still held.

They even have their own Biafran currency called Eje and Ejenma, and she promises that the Biafran Central Bank will begin operations soon.
She has proudly brandished the “currencies” on camera.

At this point, one must ask: What exactly is wrong with our people?
Igbos have always been known for wisdom, intelligence, and sharp instincts—but this Biafra obsession has brainwashed even doctors and lawyers.
    How? Why?

The list of manipulations is endless.

She boldly claims to be the Deputy Prime Minister of USB, while Simon Ekpa is the Prime Minister.
And people are swallowing it whole.

    God, please help our people.
Even though many will insult me for trying to open their eyes, I will still speak the truth.
    It is simply common sense.

    Igbo ga-adi. 👏👏👏
