  • The Demon Nnamdi Kanu Created Ruined My Hometown” — Obia Nuju Laments Devastation in Igbo Community
  • A Facebook user, Obia Nuju, has taken to social media to express deep frustration and pain over the destruction and insecurity plaguing his hometown in the South-East, which he blames on the ripple effects of agitation-driven violence.

In his emotional post, Nuju lamented that the situation has rendered his ancestral home desolate — a place his children should have been able to call home.

According to him, the crisis led to the burning of the Igwe’s palace, the killing of numerous families, and the displacement of elderly residents who now fear they may never see their homes again before passing on.

Nuju further questioned why, despite the presence of notable billionaires across Igbo land, many communities have not experienced meaningful development. He attributed part of the problem to unresolved psychological trauma stemming from the civil war, which he said fuels a tendency to blame external forces while ignoring internal issues.

He emphasized that while the Igbo people are indeed marginalized, self-evaluation is equally necessary:

    > “Once an Igbo man has money, he uses it to oppress the rest by building big houses and expensive cars. Nothing else matters.”

Nuju also criticized the spread of hate-filled narratives, which he believes have led many to be “brainwashed” and unable to think clearly.

In a fiery conclusion, he warned those attacking him online to stay off his page:

    > “Get off my wall. I spray you Sheltox to get off my wall. You all must have sense henceforth.”

His post has sparked reactions across social media, with many users divided over his claims and the broader issues raised.
