  • "YOU ARE NEVER TOO OLD TO START AGAIN" — CAROLINE MOJIRADE SHARES HER JOURNEY OF DELAY, FAILURE & A BEAUTIFUL COMEBACK

  • Many people struggle in silence, believing they have fallen too far behind to rise again. But for Caroline Mojirade, her story is proof that every journey has its own timing — and no two destinies run the same course.

Caroline finished secondary school as one of the brightest in her set. Her dream was clear: she wanted to serve in religious life and become a reverend sister — in her words, even a reverend sister professor. But life, as it often does, took an unexpected turn.

She eventually joined the religious life, but soon realized she wasn’t ready. Naïve, overwhelmed, and rushed into a system she couldn’t fit into, she stepped away — only to return and see her peers thriving. Many were already in the university, some even married, while she felt stuck, unsure of where to begin.

Determined to catch up, she took a pre–degree form and spent a full year studying, only to discover the admission was fake. Shattered and frustrated, she left the state and vowed never to step foot in school again.

Years passed. Wandering. Searching. Trying to figure out where she belonged.

Then in 2022, a single tweet changed everything. It reignited her determination. She picked herself up and started all over again — five years behind her mates, but finally on her path.

                                   The tweet

    Today, Caroline proudly says:

“I might not be a professor at 30, but I’m definitely on the path. My secondary school classmates who had smooth transitions are not better than me.”

Not only did she return to school, but she also picked up another degree last year — the degree of her choice.

Her message is simple, real, and powerful:

Don’t be discouraged. Your race is different. No two people run the same race.
If she could start over and rise, you can too.

This is not motivational talk — it’s lived experience.

Pick it up. Do it anyway.
You are never too old for anything.

    Selah.
