Popular media personality Daddy Freeze has hosted Nollywood actress Doris Ogala in a live session where she addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding her alleged past relationship with Pastor Chris Okafor.
During the conversation, Doris claimed that her relationship with Pastor Chris began in 2017 after they met by chance in Abuja. According to her, he told her at the time that he was divorced, and she insisted she was unaware he was a pastor when their connection first started.
The actress alleged that the relationship quickly grew serious, saying Pastor Chris introduced her to his parents, took her to his village in Anambra State, and treated her as a committed partner. She described their bond as emotional and deeply personal, stressing that it was built on genuine affection rather than a casual affair.
Doris further claimed that despite Pastor Chris’ public image as a preacher, he was privately very reliant on her. She alleged that he frequently confided in her, shared personal struggles, and even depended on her for medical prescriptions through her doctor.
Explaining how she later got married to another man, Doris said family pressure played a significant role. She disclosed that her eventual husband was someone from her past who reappeared during a difficult period following her father’s death, and she was persuaded by family members to proceed with the marriage despite lacking emotional attachment.
She also admitted that while she was married, she remained emotionally connected to Pastor Chris. Doris acknowledged engaging in phone intimacy with him during that period but maintained that there was no physical sexual relationship between them while she was married.
Describing her marriage as toxic, Doris alleged that she experienced physical abuse and emotional distress. She said Pastor Chris remained her source of emotional support during that time, which she claimed was why communication between them never completely ended.
The actress also stated that she has evidence to support her claims, including chats and videos, which she alleged were later handed over to Pastor Chris’ legal team.
