  • Prophet Joshua Iginla’s Emotional 2019 Confession Resurfaces

  • A deeply personal confession made by Prophet Joshua Iginla in 2019 has resurfaced online, shedding light on the troubled moments that rocked his marriage and ministry at the time.

In the emotional address, Iginla opened up about the storm that hit his home after a shocking discovery about his daughter’s genotype. According to him, both he and his wife had carried out a genotype test before marriage — he was AA, and his wife was AS. However, when their daughter was born, she was confirmed SS, a reality that sparked serious questions and unrest.

He explained that the situation shook their marriage to its foundation, but he chose to remain silent and endure for the sake of peace and continuity.

“It was something that could make a man walk away,” he admitted. “I had scriptural backing, but I covered it so the marriage would survive.”

He went on to reveal that the matter escalated further when he discovered that an “unholy child” had been introduced into the marriage, leading to intense family crises and interventions. According to him, things might not have deteriorated if his wife had listened when the initial problems began.

Iginla also confessed that he later fathered a child outside wedlock, a development that created even more tension. He noted that the scandal became an opportunity for some people — including pastors and those under his ministry — to take advantage of the situation.

“For seven years, I tried to stabilise things, but it was impossible,” he said, adding that he chose to take responsibility for everything.

According to him, his wife allegedly fought him publicly and refused private settlement, which pushed him to speak out. He said he warned her that going public would mean the end of their marriage.

“I covered her during her own time, but when mine came, she threw me to the wall,” he said. “I told her that the day I open up to the world would mark the end of our union.”

The televangelist ended his confession by appealing for prayers from those who genuinely care about them.

“Please pray for us if you love us,” he said.
