2Face Vows to Do Better As A Father

Legendary Nigerian music icon, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face or 2Baba, has openly admitted that he has not done enough in his role as a father and is determined to improve.

The award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Mic On podcast hosted by journalist Seun Okinbaloye, where he reflected on fatherhood, responsibility, and personal growth.

2Baba, who has eight children from four different women, acknowledged the importance of being present in the lives of his children and said he hopes to become a better father going forward. According to him, the presence and involvement of a father play a critical role in shaping a child’s upbringing.

“I want to really contribute to society positively. I want to be among those who make something meaningful happen. I want to contribute my own little quota to help society. I have not been the best daddy. I want to do more. However, privacy is very important,” he said during the interview.

Despite speaking candidly about his shortcomings, the music star emphasized his desire to keep his personal and family life away from public scrutiny.

2Face has two children with his first partner, Sumbo Ajaba-Adeoye, three with his second partner, Pero Adeniyi, two with his ex-wife, Annie Macaulay, and one child with his current wife, Natasha Osawaru.

The singer’s remarks have sparked conversations online, with many praising his honesty and willingness to acknowledge his flaws while striving for personal improvement.
