The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old woman, identified as Ibekwe Ezinne Mary, in connection with the alleged death of her 17-year-old salesgirl, Ihechidere Favour Uka.
The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at a cosmetics shop in Lagos, following a disagreement between the two.
According to police sources, the suspect told investigators that trouble started after the teenager returned later than expected from an errand she was sent to run. What began as a verbal exchange reportedly escalated into a physical confrontation.
The suspect allegedly admitted that both she and the teenager slapped each other during the altercation before events took a tragic turn, resulting in the death of the minor.
