It was a tragic day in Umuahia as no fewer than 15 business men and women from the popular Bonny Street axis lost their lives in a fatal motor accident while returning from a traditional marriage ceremony in Enugu State. Among the victims was well-known entertainer, Mc Councilor, identified as Innocent M. Orji.
The devastating crash has thrown the community into mourning, with families and friends struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss. Eyewitness accounts alleged that the driver of the vehicle was speeding before the accident occurred, though authorities are yet to release an official statement on the cause of the crash.
