A 20-year-old student of the University of Lagos has told a Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja how a 53-year-old lecturer, Samuel Obinna Ojogbo, allegedly raped her in his office.
The student gave her testimony on Wednesday before Justice Oyindamola Ogala while appearing as the first prosecution witness in the ongoing trial.
During the session, the witness recounted the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident, detailing how the encounter took place within the lecturer’s office.
Her testimony forms part of the prosecution’s case as the court continues to hear evidence in the matter.
The case is currently before the Lagos State High Court, with further proceedings expected as both the prosecution and defence present their arguments.
