African Liberation Day 2026 Set for Kenya, Organizers Open Registration


Organizers of African Liberation Day 2026 have officially opened registration for this year's continental celebration, which will be held in Kenya from May 23 to May 25, 2026.

The event, also known as Africa Union Day Kenya 2026, will bring together African leaders, diaspora representatives, business executives, ambassadors, and cultural groups from different parts of the world.

According to organizers, the program will focus on inclusive engagement, strategic partnerships, and policies that can drive development across Africa.

Participants can register for access cards through Jet Age Africa.

Activities Planned for Three-Day Event

The celebration go begin on May 23 with the African Liberation Walk and Flag Parade from KICC to Uhuru Park in Nairobi.

On May 24, organizers will host:

  • African Cultural Festival
  • Fashion Display
  • African Delicacies
  • Arts and Exhibitions

The activities are held at Uhuru Park.

The final day, May 25, go feature participation from:

  • Heads of Government
  • Ministers
  • African Union delegates
  • Ambassadors
  • Business leaders
  • Organisation leaders

Keynote speeches and high-level discussions are expected to be held at the Edge Convention Centre.


Organisers Promise Strong African Collaboration

The program is powered by Jet Age Builders in collaboration with the African Union Commission, AGA-APSA, and the Office of the President of Kenya.

The official sponsor for the event is Kenya Airways.

Organizers say the event will create opportunities for African stakeholders and friends of Africa to discuss partnerships, innovation, and continental development.
