Social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains in custody in Lagos.
The development was announced by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed to Nigerians for financial assistance to help Blessing meet the conditions attached to her bail and settle outstanding claims linked to her case.
According to the fundraising appeal, ₦20 million was being sought to meet the requirements attached to Blessing’s bail, while another **₦36 million** was reportedly needed to settle money owed to individuals involved in the case, bringing the total target to ₦56 million.
The appeal also claimed that Blessing lost her son while in custody following an asthma attack. However, the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death, including the reported cause, have not been independently confirmed by authorities in the reports reviewed.
In a voice recording shared by Agiye, a voice identified as Blessing’s reportedly spoke about the loss, saying she had lost her second son Bryan while in custody and had not been able to pay her last respects.
However, a subsequent development has cast doubt on the fundraising campaign. Actress Doris Ogala said she contacted Blessing, who reportedly told her that she **did not authorise anyone to solicit money on her behalf** and had not given anyone permission to publicly announce her son’s death.
Blessing has remained in custody after being granted bail in connection with an alleged ₦69.15 million property fraud case. Reports said she was unable to meet the conditions attached to the bail.
The conflicting accounts over the fundraising appeal have prompted calls for caution from those who may be considering making donations in Blessing CEO’s name.
