Five people have so far been rescued following a multiple-vehicle accident at Otedola Bridge in Lagos.
According to the emergency response authorities, no fatality has been recorded as of the time of the report, while the evacuation of the vehicles involved in the crash is ongoing.
Emergency responders are also working to clear the road and reopen the route to motorists.
The authorities urged motorists to exercise patience, cooperate with emergency responders, and drive with caution while using the affected route.
