A social media exchange between Nigerian internet personalities King Chidi and Enori has drawn attention online after the pair traded posts over an old photograph and alleged private messages.
The exchange reportedly began after Enori shared a 2019 photograph of King Chidi wearing slim-fit trousers and made comments about his appearance. She also claimed that Chidi had previously tried to ask her out.
Chidi responded by sharing screenshots said to be from a WhatsApp conversation between them. In the messages, he appeared to offer to take Enori out, seemingly disputing aspects of her account of their past interaction.
He also referenced Enori’s recent controversy over a post concerning an alleged Itel battery explosion, for which she later apologised, and accused her of creating stories for attention.
