Nigerian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jane Osigwe has defeated Moroccan opponent Sanaa Mandar by unanimous decision at the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Africa event in Casablanca, Morocco.
Osigwe secured the victory after three rounds in their 132-pound catchweight bout on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Mohammed V Sports Complex.
The judges scored the contest 29–28, 29–28 and 29–27 in favour of the Nigerian fighter, handing her a unanimous decision victory over Mandar.
The bout was part of PFL Africa’s first event in North Africa, which featured fighters from across the continent in a series of tournament and showcase contests.
Mandar, a Moroccan fighter and African Sambo champion, entered the contest seeking to defeat Osigwe in front of her home crowd in Casablanca.
However, the Nigerian emerged victorious after the three-round contest, adding another win to her professional MMA record.
Osigwe, who hails from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, represents Africa Top Team Nigeria.
Her victory adds to Nigeria’s presence on the growing African mixed martial arts scene as the PFL continues to stage events across the continent.
