The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has convicted and sentenced Hassan Usman Olamilekan for offences bordering on money laundering.
The judgment was delivered on Friday, October 30, 2026. Olamilekan was reportedly among the suspects arrested during the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operation at Applewood Estate, Orchid Road, Lekki, Lagos.
The EFCC had earlier disclosed that its operatives arrested 21 suspected cybercrime fraudsters during the October 26 operation. The commission said preliminary investigations implicated 19 of the suspects, while two others were released. <Cite refs={["turn634099search1","turn634099search0"]}/>

The raid also led to the recovery of five exotic vehicles, according to the EFCC.
Olamilekan’s conviction marks a development in the legal proceedings involving suspects linked to the widely discussed estate operation.
