A nine-month Al Jazeera investigation into the
mysterious death of the late Palestinian leader, Yasir
Arafat, reveals that he may have been poisoned. Tests performed on Arafat's personal items indicate
abnormal levels of polonium which suggest that there
was a high level of the radioactive substance inside
his body when he died. Suha Arafat, his widow, has
now called for the exhumation of her late husband's
body. We discuss the findings from Al Jazeera's
investigative report into Arafat's cause of death
with the man behind the report, Al Jazeera's Clayton
Swisher. In this episode of The Stream, we also speak
with Ali Abunimah, co-founder of Electronic Intifada.
