UN General Assembly Chooses Nigeria To Co-Chair Next Mini Summit

The United Nations General Assembly has chosen Nigeria to co-chair its next mini summit.
This, the organisation says is to "further give support to the initiative by President Goodluck Jonathan on the fight against HIV/AIDS and malaria in Africa".
This was disclosed during the FEC meeting, chaired by President Goodluck Jonathan.
Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku said that the UN is supporting the recent effort by African countries to ensure that Africa is able to
overcome the diseases that have been raving the continent.
