Speaking Monday during the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation Advisory Committee at the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat, Abeokuta, the PDP chieftain called Jonathan one of the best performing leaders in Nigeria’s history.
The official praised the President over his achievements, adding that he deserved to be re-elected, Premium Times reports.
“When we were young and we were to go on excursion, we travelled by train from Idogo passing through Ijoko, Agege, among others. The rail system suddenly went into a coma. It is President Jonathan that revived it.

“On road construction, we must give it to Jonathan. We can all see the Lagos- Ibadan Expressway, and the Sagamu-Benin-Ore Road. What about the renovation and construction of airports? He also established more higher institutions in the country.”
The former governor characterized the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party that had caused “suffering and hardship” to the nation and urged people to vote them out in the upcoming elections.
Meanwhile Jonathan’s key opposition competitor, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), called on people of Adamawa during his campaign rally in Yola, not to allow the PDP to stay in the office. The former military Head of State insisted the the PDP would ruin Nigeria if elected again.
