Abuja traders are complaining about the high cost of rent for small
shops. The traders are saying that Abuja, Nigeria’s capital was built
without consideration for small shops. Rather, they insist that the
available spaces have been allocated to shopping malls.
Traders are now finding a way around the problem by converting their vehicles into shops, especially in areas where there are no malls or places where buying anything requires transport.
If you go to places like Gwarinpa expressway by each pedestrian bridge, at Lugbe Berger junction, along Gado Nasko road Kubwa, some parts of Wuse 2 and many other suburbs.
But traders at every convention or crusade have been doing this for the longest time.
