The Enugu state command of the Nigeria Police Force through its
operatives of the Udenu Division on 22/8/15 through information and
partnership with members of the public nabbed a suspect identified as
one Ekene Ugwu who in a bid to snatch a toyota camry earlier hired to
convey him from the owner one Anthony Sunday Nnamani allegedly used his
short cutlass and slashed the throat of the owner of the Camry led to
his death.
It was further gathered that members of the public who witnessed the
scenario with a suspicion that it could be alleged ritualist act, raised
distress call which prompted the arrival of security operatives to the
scene before the suspect could escape and suspect was promptly arrested.
Suspect is now helping the operatives in their investigations.
