Robbery Victims Overpower Armed Robbers During Operation, Hands Them Over To Police

The hunters became the hunted... On the 2nd September, 2015 at about 12:25am, Police received a report of armed robbery involving two-man robbery gang who snatched two laptops computers, three (3) mobile phones and the sum of N2,500 from their victims at Ikot-Osurua, Ikot Ekpene.


However, the three male victims later overpowered the armed robbery suspects and disposed them of the two locally-made pistols and one live cartridge they used in robbing them. All three suspects were handed over to the Police on arrival at the scene alongside recovered exhibits. All suspects now in custody, State CIID Uyo is investigating.
