NEMA Rescue Officials Become Accident Victims Following Horrific Crash While On Duty (Photos)

NEMA Emergency Response Team South South Zonal Officials escaped death on Saturday while on humanitarian intervention. Upon hearing that some people were trapped in a flooded community along with State Emergency Management Agency staff, NEMA staff took off to rescue the trapped victims but couldn't reach the scene as their ERT vehicle was caught up in an accident after somersaulting four times while on their journey.


 The rear tyre bursted on motion and with no better option the vehicle was diverted into a canal which helped in saving the entire 5 personnel in the vehicle as they sustained only minor injuries. They have been reportedly treated and discharged.
