The election of a former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly,
Rt. Hon Abdullahi Bello into the Federal House of Assembly has been
upturned by an Appeal Court sitting in Abuja.The ruling follows an
appeal filed against Bello by Hon. Tijani Damisa.Delivering judgement,
the court ruled thatfresh election be conducted in Okene/Ogori-Magongo
Federal constituency within 90 days.The judgement also barred Abdullahi
Bellofrom participating in the rerun election.
